The Cheyenne Mountain Post fully participates in the Veterans of Foreign Wars scholarship programs.  The Voice of Democracy audio essay program provides high school students an opertunity to win a $30,000 scholarship and a trip to Washington DC.  Middle school students can win a $10,000 savings bond by competing in the Patriot's Pen essay contest and Eagle Scouts can compete for a $5,000 Scout of the Year scholarship.
