The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars is the proud sponsor of the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Awards. These awards encourage high school students to use their artistic talents to express their patriotism while becoming eligible for a $10,000 scholarship.

The competition is open to students in grades 9-12 who submit their original patriotic art on paper or canvas using water color, pencil, pastel, charcoal, tempera, crayon, arcylic, pen-and-ink or oil. Digital art may also be submitted but must be on paper or canvas.  Download the entry form below for rules and details.

Deadline for entries is midnight, 31 March 2009.
