How to Download or Subscribe to our Calendar

Our calendar is iCalendar compliant which supports downloading or subscribing to your computer for viewing with supporting software or to mobile devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Downloading is a one time shot, you get the current calendar but you will have to download it again to get changes. Subscribing gives you the current calendar and changes whenever your calendar program checks for updates.

Start by selecting the event categories that you are interested in. From the calendar page, select the categories you want displayed and press the "Update calendar" button. Use the "Toggle Categories" box to select or unselect all categories. Now click either the subscribe or download icon at the top of the page to receive to your customized calendar.

Downloading a Calendar

This will download the calendar as an ics/ical file to your PC. Use your calendar program's "import" process to import the file into your calendar.  Remember, downloaded calendars are not automatically updated.

  1. Click the download icon at the top right of the calendar
  2. click the "http:// ..." URL
  3. Your browser should prompt you to save the calendar file to your PC
  4. Use your calendar program to import the just downloaded calendar

Subscribing to a Calendar

For iCal Users (Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)

  1. Click the subscribe icon at the top right of the calendar
  2. Click the "webcal:// ..." URL or link
  3. iCal will automatically open, asking if you wish to subscribe. Follow the prompts to subscribe to the calendar.

For Thunderbird / Sunbird Users

  1. Click the subscribe icon at the top right of the calendar
  2. Highlight the "http://..." URL with your mouse, then choose the menu option "Edit | Copy" to copy the URL to your computer's clipboard
  3. Open up Thunderbird or Sunbird program, choose the menu option "File | New | Calendar..."
  4. Follow the screen to setup a calendar on the network using the iCalendar (ICS) format. Paste the URL into the Location field

For Google Calendar Users

  1. Click the subscribe icon at the top right of the calendar
  2. Highlight the "http://..." URL with your mouse, then choose the menu option "Edit | Copy" to copy the URL to your computer's clipboard
  3. Open up your Google Calendar, use the "Add by URL" option to create a new calendar and paste the URL into the URL field

For Outlook 2007 - 2010 Users (Outlook 2003 and before is not supported)

  1. Click the subscribe icon at the top right of the calendar
  2. Click the "http://..." URL
  3. At the prompt, "Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates", click Yes.
